Those to are very good chassis for any class. If you are going with an Ultramax go with the proforce. Jammin Dirt Administrator Total posts: 3279 posted August 08, 2000 07:40 AM Do you know anything about a 96 phantom stalker? Dirtfaced Dirt Roller Total posts: 23 posted August 08, 2000 04:15 PM Jammin, If the Stalker is an off-set chassis then it will be okay for your young child.but it isn't then you need to find something with an off-set chassis so he can hang with the crownd.I do know that the Stalkers were one of the top chassis's back in 1996 and 1997. Jeremy jammin Dirt Administrator Total posts: 3279 posted August 08, 2000 09:23 PM Thanks a million for the input. I want to get something that he can be competitive in. I think this might be a good kart to start him out in.

Speedster Dirt Forum Racer Total posts: 94 posted September 16, 2000 11:00 PM jammin if you have not got a car for your child yet try going to my 6yr old has a ball and dont let anyone tell you they are expensive cause they cost the same as a ikf cart iknow! Also they wear seat belts arm restraints neck brace cloves firesuit its alot easier to get this by the other half also because they are safer! Just thought i would put a bug in your head check it out go to a midget race and then go to a cart race that will really help you decide. Jammin Dirt Administrator Total posts: 3279 posted September 17, 2000 09:25 AM The problem with that is, there are not very many tracks in this area that run them.More karts than anything. 30owner Dirt Roller Total posts: 22 posted September 19, 2000 07:24 AM My son starts racing next year, and I was wondering if the Coyote's are still a good Kart.
I ran one a long. Time ago when I started, and it was fast. 30owner 75kartracer Dirt Roller Total posts: 14 posted September 19, 2000 06:52 PM I think any of the major kart builders like Ultramax, Phantom, Shadow, Buller, CKI, etc. Would be a safe bet. They're pretty much proven to be competitive around the country. The Stalker would probablty be a good kart to start out in.

What class will he be running in? Dirt or asphalt? How old is he? 30owner Dirt Roller Total posts: 22 posted September 19, 2000 08:26 PM He will be 7 in Jan. I plan on running him on small dirt ovals in purple plate. Where can I find info on the Stalker chassis you are talking about?
I need all the help I can get. I've owned dirt late models for 5 yrs. Karting is completely different than when I ran. Thanks 30owner 75kartracer Dirt Roller Total posts: 14 posted September 19, 2000 09:30 PM If you're interested in a Phantom chassis (who builds the Stalker), you might try e-mailing them at [email protected]. I'm sure they have another website address but for now this was all I could find. There's a HUGE difference between karts and stock cars, I've raced karts for about four years, and I've driven a stock car a couple times in bewtween. If there's any way I can help you feel free to ask for more info.
